Man in fight with We Buy Any Car over car they refused to buy

"They checked the car before, they checked me a while before, they should know," he added. "I don't sell cars any more, I used to sell cars, but now I have a coffee shop," he said. The email read: "From a review of the documentation and information we have found about you, we have identified that your business is in the buying and selling of vehicles. He also said that before the signed invoice was issued, he understood his own credentials to have been checked already. A man who agreed a deal to sell his vehicle to We Buy Any Car says he has been left out of pocket after the company unexpectedly cancelled the transaction. He claims he has not received the promised purchase money and added that the experience had left him "very stressed and very disappointed".

In an interview with the Hull Daily Mail, Mr Qerreti claimed he intended to pick up the car but then received a government email notification saying: "DVLA have been notified electronically that you have sold/transferred this vehicle into the motor trade and are no longer the keeper." After the government notification telling him that he was no longer the owner, Mr Qerreti, 44, said he decided not to pick up the car and highlighted the notification to We Buy Any Car both in person at the store and via email and calls. Mr Qerreti did receive an email from We Buy Any Car at 9.51am on the morning of September 17, in which a representative said they had cancelled the purchase believing him to be a car dealer, which was a breach of part of the sale contract. "It stopped me going to work, I can't go to work because of the stress," he added. Pandi Qerreti, from Hull, sold his Mercedez Benz to We Buy Any Car's Chamberlain Road store on September 16 for £33,097.25, and was told he would receive payment by 8pm the next day. "They wasted my time. I want to highlight the case to warn others." Mr Qerreti told the Hull Daily Mail that he used to be a car dealer, but isn't any more. "As you have also been in possession of this vehicle for a very short period of time, we reasonably believe therefore that you are selling this vehicle in the general course of business."

However, on the Toyota allex in kenya morning of September 17 Mr Qerreti was frustrated to receive notification by phone and email that he must "immediately pick up the car" as the purchase had been cancelled, despite a signed invoice having been issued.
