The company that created the mobile app in Kenya recently went public with their mobile app. It’s called Sunny Leaf, which has now received an impressive 2.4 million downloads in less than three months. Sunny Leaf is the latest in a long line of Android phones that have made headlines in the past several weeks. When it announced that it would be available on Android, it sparked a controversy over how phone carriers could not charge customers for their smart devices. And the company has now issued a public apology for the app, which was initially launched by Motorola and now also by Nokia.
